I have been trying to make up this particular disagreement for months.
But friend Z will not have it and I will not be insulted by his rude remarks,I am not the sort to take the easy way out.
By running.
Many apoligies to Mac for interrupting his topic of Reincarnation.
Sorry,Mac.

To discredit me.
Tut! Tut! George! Not very nice.
If you're saying your own words are discrediting you, I am not sure where to go next. You did explain that your opinion had changed. I can't see anything wrong with either position. How is zerdini discrediting you?

I really do not want to say anymore,Obiwan, except to say I am so fed up with the situation.
I am not going to say anything about Z except to say we were good friends but that friendship is now finished and better that way.
Thanks,Obi!

I should make things quite clear.
Joan, Joanie, deep sea, aussiepom, petal etc has never been a friend of mine.
I value true friendship very highly indeed.
She is an internet acquaintance who I met on a similar forum to this and tried to answer her questions in good faith.
When I found out her propensity for sending private messages and emails trying to play one off against another I decided, with justification, to have nothing more to do with her on a personal level.
That is the background to the recent posts on this forum.

Re: real or not?
Stop lying Z,tell the truth. I was supported by another member on site against your unpleasant remarks and you didn't like it. I sent a pm thanking him. Unfortunately because of two names very simliar,it went to you and not him.
That was the start of it.
Your attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

We weren't friends? Why did you ask for my phone number then?

I have many phone numbers of acquaintances - that doesn't make them friends.

I take the strongest exception to your remarks. The example you quote above is only one of many which is why you had to leave one forum. Other people have told me of your attempts to belittle me
You twist and turn at every chance to be 'Mrs niceguy'. It won't work so kindly cease this conversation. As for your attitude the less said the better.

Re: real or not?
This situation seems to have gotten really heated and negative.
I once had to invoke a "block messages" feature regarding a member on another forum. We weren't really enemies, it was just that he was a total skeptic regarding the whole point of the forum: yet he seemed to spend half his waking life on it! We got to the point where everyone had heard his arguments 1,000 times, as he had ours: and nobody's mind had been changed.
Anyway. . . does anyone have any ideas about how to handle this present conflict?

Good point Jim, I suspect its time all this came to a stop. Its funny really reincarnation is just one of those topics...

Re: real or not?
It is a strange topic because if reincarnation is possible, why would you want to? Would you really want to spend more time in kindergarten when there are so many new things to learn in the "big school"?
Wes
Re: real or not?
I don't think reincarnation is real... I didn't think so the last time I was here either...

Re: real or not?
Perhaps a 'best' understanding of what 'we' are and what might reincarnate, what could and could not reincarnate, would lead to thoughts of 'why'.

Might the physical dimension - the 'kindergarten' - be equally, or more, important as/than all other classes in the so-called big school? A need to fully understand what's found there before 'moving up' to the next class? A need sometimes best met with more than a single exposure to its special environments?
Perhaps we too-easily discount the importance of incarnate life? Dismiss it because we have yet to learn its true importance?
mac
Re: real or not?
Well I think I have learned a lot from being incarnate so far lol. Reading Silver Birch and communicators through Leslie Flint for example, it seems there are many way to learn and develop, life in the physical being but one.

Re: real or not?
I think you have something there. After all, if our 'conciousness' is ever evolving - ever growing and ever expanding, then surely it follows that our 'collective' awareness is also. Which in turn, of course, perhaps means that we are also constantly readdressing our existence -our destination?

Yours.
I was stacking a joke on top of your joke. You indicated that you see no evidence of it, yet you still believe in it. That's faith.
