Seriously, I think they could have chosen a better title. "Love and Light" for Christ sake its as old and horrible as religion its self

agreed - and the Home page looked awful

I kind of suspected that Love and Light might not appeal to some on here, unfortunately it has become a little overused.

I took a look at the site and they have clearly put a lot of effort into it. Unfortunately it is not for me because like many sites based around Spiritualism it incorporates many of the elements of the New Age which are not part of the movement. Indeed several of the things included are among those I include in the non Spiritualist section of this site for interest only. I do mention Angels in the Spirit Guides section but only to show how the mythology about them has grown to the level it is now. I am not saying there are not a level of beings called angels but that it is important to place the reality in context with the romanticised version we now see.

However, I am aware that many will love this site so I wish it all the best.

My journey towards spiritualism began with astrology, angels and so on, so I'm perhaps a bit more supportive of such sites as they can provide an entry point for people looking for enlightenment - if it encourages people to open themselves up to spirit in some way and supports further exploration, then good luck to them

Yes, Wes I agree with that, maybe we are being a bit to critical, as those coming into the movement, might just find this type of site appealing. New 'inducties' to spiritualism will like this sort of thing and probably find comfort by the angely, loving nature it portrays.

I expect it will only last for a short while until they start to find out what its really like!

The one thing that really puts me off, is the bright RED, thats to me is an anger colour so would rub me up the wrong way. Yes it is energy too but not quite like this looks!!!

Hmm if the claret puts you off then I assume you don't follow Villa then Z
