Thanks for posting that extract from the 1994 documentary. It brought back a lot of memories.

I remember Paul Jacobs who escorted her on to the platform and chaired for Mavis at Longton Church.

In the audience I recognised Gerard Smith, the well-known medium, and also Lionel Owen (former ISF President).

I often attended Longton Church when Gordon Higginson was demonstrating (he was the President as was his mother before him). His mother was a remarkable medium and I had a number of private sittings with her.

I remember Mavis Pattilla when she started her mediumship. Gordon introduced her to the wider public at the SAGB in London - she was extrememly nervous - but after that she never looked back.

I watched her grow in confidence over the years and always gave very good survival evidence.
