I recently saw a documentary on his assassination and apparently various spiritualist groups offered to materialise Lincoln shortly after his death - which would have been useful if Booth had lived to stand trial.

A fully materialised Abraham Lincoln would have been a very strong witness for the prosecution, although if that had happened, would it still have been a murder trial....
