SNU
Hi all,
I have heard that it is being said on the internet that SNU members are concerned that senior officers have introduced certain reforms via the back door, although these same reforms were rejected at the recent SNU conference. I have had no success in discovering where this is being said and would be most grateful if anyone could enlighten me. Mant thanks.

Re: SNU
Interesting Bill, the PN report showed they were not happy chappies at the rejection.
Seems tthat we need to hear more. What were the true effects of the proposals sid they give more power to the executive committee?
Those overseas would also be interested because it is my understanding that members of the SNUI would be bound by the governing body's rules

Exactly Jim. IF true it would be quite scandalous. However, I don't know if it is true or not. Hence my trying to track the internet source down.

Rumours
[b] This rumour is being banded around however Duncan is not seeking re-election and I feel the new president who ever that may be might have other ideas to put forwards.

Interesting Merlin you always imply that your contacts, experience and backgrounnd give a great depth of knowledge. In that case, given all that you have written on teh many forums we have been on would you care to share your understanding with us?

Re: SNU
It is no secret Duncan is standing down he announced it at the AGM however I feel he thought he was on a winner if the restructure had been approved then he would have been apointed the managing director of the new board of directors then it would only be a matter of time for the board to be the admin and ruleing body and leaving the NEC to run the spiritualist and church side. That is how I saw it and it might have been a good thing who knows however due to the past events Duncan may be asked to stay on. As to my contacts or freinds I have many on both sides of life and long may it continue
