Going Backwards
When we go backwards into the story of the origin of chicken and the egg or the tree and the seed, we may come across several explanations. Some say that bacteria lead to the formation of the chicken and egg. Some say that there must have been a chicken at the start. Some say that it happened with the Big Bang. Some say that God created it.
Regardless of the reasoning, eventually, one answer that most of us agree on is that some power – we call it God for the sake of a better name – has created all the species on Earth. Otherwise, how would we have Chinese in China, Indians in India and Europeans in the West? How would Americans be so different from the Africans? Why would we have dinosaurs, crocodiles, tortoise, fishes, birds and dogs?
All these are proofs of a super power with a creative brain, mind, and thought. Of course, these are titles that we humans have given to that power. But without any doubt, there is a power – a magnificent, supreme, and super power – that exists. This super power created the Earth, the space around it, the sun, the moon, and the stars. There is a power and arguing about whether the power exists or not is truly meaningless because if one doesn’t want to accept the fact that there is a power that created everything, then any further discussion stands invalid.
When we accept that there is a power, then we move to the next step, a meaningful one, which is trying to find answers to the following questions: Who is this power? Where is this power? What has this power created? Is it a creation or a manifestation?
Once we accept the presence of a supreme power, it opens the doors for us to look for further meaning, purpose and understanding of life. This, in turn, leads us to self-realization and God realization.
