Races Nationalities wisdom
Hello Friends.
We all belong to the Great Spirit, We are all aspects of this Power.
We are specks of light emanating from the source.
We come, make our mark, we go, we come back again.
Perhaps a different colour or race with a different ideology.
Do not think you have a right to own a culture, or your creed.
Respect it but be prepared to move on to another dimension
Your race and creed that you are experiencing is not yours to own
only to grow and learn from it.
Respect the Great Spirit in its magnificent wisdom
But do not cling to cultures of the past
nothing stands still, listen for the new wisdom and move forward
Blessings Maree

Re: Races Nationalities wisdom
I see that we all are from the spirit and of the spirit but not that we belong to it. No need to respect the spirit but simply to acknowledge that we always are, and always have been, simply part of it .

Hi Mac.
Two words there of great importance belong and respect....yes I must agree with you we are Spirit and we need to acknowledge this.
I do feel we can become shackled by culture , and to believe you own the wisdom of that culture , and claim you have the right to decide who
propagates it is ludicrous, you simply move through a culture to learn and prepare yourself for the next journey.

That's an interesting point, Maree, concerning who propagates the so-called wisdom of a culture. It's something where my view concerning Spiritualism has changed over the 30 years since I first learned about survival. For many years I have plodded on with trying to help others to understand that notion via Spiritualist Philosophy. I didn't - I hope - evangelise but I have often referred to the fundamental teachings which underpin the whole movement of Modern Spiritualism. Over the past few years, though, it's become painfully obvious to me that either I can't explain adequately or that the Spiritualist message does not have appeal for most others I meet online. I don't do church as even for me it's so outmoded.
More and more I'm seeing that a new generation is coming to the message of survival by another route altogether, one which doesn't involve evidential or philosophical mediumship. The subject of near-death-experience, for example, is one which excites many and gets them thinking about what lies beyond. Past-life regression is another subject that fascinates folk. Along with that are channeling and mediumship but not mediumship as I know it. Overall I see less-and-less awareness, interest or even preparedness to acknowledge Spiritualism and the a message which, for me, started my journey of learning.
I've learned to accept that what Spiritualism has to offer simply doesn't appeal and I'm reluctantly resigned to its message of survival being transmitted in different ways by different bodies, organisations or individuals who have absolutely no connection with Spiritualism. And it's been a hard lesson for me to learn and accept.
