The Medium and Magician

Now this is a very interesting article to turn up in the local press in the USA. It is about the magician David Abbott who was the scourge of mediums in his day. However, he was also open minded about the possibility real communication existed but was determined to debunk any fraud. He was able to write for an interesting magazine called Open Court as well as producing many books. He certainly developed a valid way in which the Bangs Sisters could have produced their famous work.

This piece shows the other side a medium who confounded him with direct voice through the trumpet and in the daylight.
