Re: Bringing people back from the dead
Little by little, step by step, do we roll back the vibrationary frontier called death.

In time, cooling procedures may become standard practice for such events and there will likely be more apparently near-death events reported than there are right now.
I've found it interesting to see how members on some websites will heed so-called NDE accounts as insights into the 'afterlife' much more readily than they do the evidence gained from mediums, historical or present day...
Perhaps NDEs will be a new generation's introduction to eventual acceptance of life beyond physical death?

I've often felt the same way, Mac. Spiritualism and mediums were most accepted in an earlier, more spiritual era. Today, people like to think of themselves as scientific, and are more convinced by the MD's and PhD's who are studying and corroborating the NDE phenomenon.
And who cares, really? So long as people are absorbing the correct contents, does the package and wrapper really matter that much?

Agreed but where will they turn when they want to understand more? What will scientists and medical practitioners be able to offer then I wonder.

It depends on their level of interest. The majority will probably not go any further. Others will discover Spiritualism. I did!

Hi all,
Good thread. I think NDE research has a great deal to offer, and I tend to agree that veridical accounts are the best; although we should not dismiss other accounts.
It does seem that our experiences of theses events are very individualised depending upon our level of development, and I would agree that many people will look at this phenomena in place of what 'mediums' can tell us.
Considering the state of modern Spiritualism that does not surprise me at all.
We should await with interest the full findings of the 'awareness study' however, but initial commets appear 'interesting' and it looks like the study will be extended.
