Transcending the mind of the world..
Transcending the mind of the world..
There is a huge difference between our educated worldly mind... and the presence of the higher mind. At times, we can be aware of the relationship that exists between them and at times not.
When speaking of our worldly mind, we expand its abilities to understand through learning, whereas the connection with our higher mind happens as we realise something. The worldly mind in us is generally a slowly functioning mind, with little ability to realise. It often struggles just to get an understanding of things, while the higher mind provides a clear and direct knowing instantaneously.
To cultivate and develop our relationship with our higher functioning mind, we need at first to remove the interfering presence of the lower worldly mind or else raise its vibration... this happens as we begin to 'realise'.
Self realisation or self awareness happens, as the vibrationally lower mind begins to 'speed up', and our identification of our self and our surroundings 'detaches' from being identified through 'the content' that is stored within consciousness to the being identified with the spacious property of the consciousness itself. This is a similar process that happens during the 'quickening' as a person blends their mind with the mind of a more highly evolved soul while sitting for trance mediumship... when the personality of our worldly self is temporarily set aside... The stored content within consciousness is everything that makes up our biographical history and it holds all of the emotional debris that has not yet been realised and released...
So cleverness relates to learning, as awareness relates to realising. Cleverness being a product of the egoic journey that supports the mind of the world, whereas awareness is the energetic presence of our Soul that allows our worldly mind to transcend its notions of self and selfish needs. Awareness allows us to experience the vibrationally higher mind that allows us to rise above the battle field of the world and allows us to experience the real truth of what we are….

Re: Transcending the mind of the world..
In a nutshell, AO. I tend to recognise the general mind as the basic view of Life - which is manipulated and conditioned by individual and group, to inculcate THEIR understandings (and to perpetuate them), even should they be detrimental to their unwitting host.
The intuitive mind is our personal tutor, working ceaselessly and exclusively for us.
Religionists, politicians and other mores of mind, would have us slave-like in superimposed, sycophantic, drooling adoration of ideas that belong in the dustbins of history.
We have still to awake!

Thank for the response Hiorta,
yep I agree, we need awakening as a race, as a society and as individuals..

Re: Transcending the mind of the world..
There are different names for different kinds of instantly knowing. Are you are trying to describe epiphanies?

Re: Transcending the mind of the world..
Instant knowing does not need to use our normal cognitive process. It is a connection of pure insightful-ness that happens as we become one with a higher more capable mind.... a mind state that is not laden down with our story but can be characterized by its qualities of aliveness and awareness .
So if that is what you mean by the word epiphany then yes. What is normally seen as separate from us, that we can only aspire to and experience in the briefest of moments....becomes more familiar when sought through the practice of developing awareness and presence...
