Hmm, their 9th principle is a bit of a worry:


We affirm that the precepts of Prophecy & Healing, contained in the Bible continue through Spiritualism.


Is that saying that thay take all biblical prophecies as facts?

I believe its one of our problems somehow ther is a kind of acceptance in US Spiritualism that the Biblical Propesies prove Spiritualis. Its a very popular idea especially in Christian Spiritualism.

Problem is if the Biblical Prophesies & Miracles did happen (or even may happen), as written, it would mean that God was prepared to subvert natural law to the benefit of one group of people , the Abrahamic tribes.

It also ignores all other religions and their beliefs pinning Spiritualism back to a Christian base. I just end up ignoring this as a cultural issue. All the major Guides have indicated that the universe is subject to natural laws, some of which we may not yet be aware of but many of the reported Biblical Miracles were of the nature that this natural law would be circumvented.

Wes this is typical of the type of book that appeared, there were many earlier ones.

Indeed! Attention-seeking is now ART.
As SB has often stated, The Natural Laws are Perfect, having been devised by Infinite Perfection.
Although massively intertwined and complex, they are simple in operation - we will reap as was sown. It cannot be otherwise. Therefore we create our own futures. We attract that which comes to us, so we are our own Saviours.
Therefore, as Arthur Findlay put it - "Christianity (Religion) is the greatest hoax perpetrated upon humankind in the last 1500 years.'

As we are informed by science, the Universe is in constant motion, expanding as she goes, then organisations which look to Old Books for the future and take unthinking refuge in Holy Aphorisms and Revered Principles are missing the point, big-time.

Mediumship by Spiritual folk shines a greatly needed light into the dark corners of blindfold Theology allowing the Divine Light of Truth to shine on a range of paths for seekers, but we are all equipped with sufficient inner attributes of our Souls to illuminate the way of service. The light will shine ever stronger as we travel, or we can make our own arrangements, of course. Freedom to choose as ever.....and not a Thou Shalt in sight.
