Quantum hologram theories and research

Ed Mitchell has been publicising the theory of Quantum hologram for some time, which tries to explain the mechanics of all mediumship scientifically. I found the theory very attractive, and although my degree is in polymer chemistry rather than physics, I was able to follow the argument. Thanks Normy, I tend to think that many people may hate those of us who would like to see a scientific, non mystic, understanding of mediumship but I am with you on this.

That is of course what so many of the key pioneers, we trot out in defence of Spiritualism, Hare, Crookes, Varley, Lodge, James etc etc wanted. It was also a major reason Spiritualism and psychology were intertwined in the early years.

Thanks Admin, I don't know many who think as we do about scientific understanding of mediumship! I Emailed Ed Mitchell, asking whether he thought that physical mediumship, as well as mental mediumship, was covered by the QH theory. His reply was:

The recently deceased William Roll wrote about research in Quantum Physics which teneded to confirm that objects used in Psychometry were entangled with the energy of those previously in contact with it. I have the paper referencing this because Psychometry is a deep and abiding interest of mine.

Additionally I regualrly use it to work on psychic (not mediumship) development. The Quantum Physics tend to prove the energy is their and the psychic uses their own energy field and consciousness to unentangle the information. I tend to emphasise this and say that is the you at work this is your senses and consciousness. However, I am aware that when people bring flowers or personal objects to be psychometrised they may be thinking strongly of someone.

Now this gives two issues.

• That a well attuned psychic may pick up this thought image and think they are in contact with a loved one, so they need to be trained to sense when this is a contact in that manner

• Alternatively that the loved one in Spirit is actually aware of their thoughts and comes along to make a connection through the medium. Ther is a very different sense this in psychometry in some ways the psychic work is internal, you need to stop this and look for the external contact from the discarnate Spirit to change the link to mediumship which then breaks away from the energy entangled within the object. Of course you could just ignore the energy entanglement and just see whether there is a loved one around as you picked up each object

I agree with your comments Jim. I am currently wondering whether the entanglement energies present in either living or inanimate physical bodies could be connected to the spirit dimension or vibration. The quantum is so weird! It needs a connection theory with spirit.
What do you think of the Ron Pearson theory of the i-ether? I found it plausible, but speculative, when I read his books, and as far as I know it has not yet been disproved on scientific grounds.
