Re: Haunted Dundee
'.... should satisfy the most demanding Dundonian'.
I wonder if Ruffles has ever been to Dundee. We spent a month there once. It was one afternoon in July.
Awful place, dreadful people. They don't like us English one bit..
Can't imagine 'ghosts' wanting to stick around.
It is by no means difficult to differentiate between a little ray of sunshine and a Scotsman nursing a grievance.

Re: Haunted Dundee
I obviously have much fonder memories of Scoland and Dundee than you Katy.
Went there once only as a 21 year old internal auditor for Friends Provident and Century Insurance. Flew Gatwick to Glasgow and then British Caledonia (there a grand old airline name) ran a limo to ferry passengers to Dundee. Really enjoyed the trip and the friendliness of the Dundee folk, then on to Aberdeen and Inverness flying back in a Viscount the ones that seemed to flap their wings to fly.
However, as my brother was born in Dumfries, Christened at Kirkbean (and is buried there some 42 years later) I reckon I have an association with Scotland.

Re: Haunted Dundee
I've been to England, Wales, and the Irish Republic, but never to Northern Ireland, or to Scotland.
Me faither's faither came to the US from The Shotts, Lanarkshire, around 1924.
I can remember him telling me stories about the crime problem in Glasgow in those days: that gangs with knives would surround you on the street, and take your CLOTHES, along with your money and jewelry!
A friend of mine was in Glasgow and Edinburgh in the 1970's. In his opinion, it would have been hard to find a prettier city than Edinburgh, or a dirtier one than Glasgow.
But all this is just hearsay on my part: can't speak from experience.

Re: Haunted Dundee
I don't make this stuff up.
Scots chap this afternoon came into mini readings. Didn't book with me not even sure if he had a sitting with anybody but he was in our group chatting outside before the off . He's working in our city temporarily and staying at a guest house locally. Saw the poster for this afternoon's gig outside church and popped along to pass time. I've pointed him to this website. So if you are reading this Steve from Dundee, remember what I said about there being no coincidences!
