University of California Riverside Campus. They have any number of mediated narrative strands and trawl for papers via specifioed interest linls, there's history, air travel, conflict... all sorts... If enough submit then they'll run a seminar or workshop and there may be a 'proceedings of' published.
Useful way for beginning researchers to be published and a real money spinner for the university hosting seminars etc.
Real flyers (ideas recruiting l.ots of paying customers for seminars and follow ons) can turn into courses or even degree modules.
Jolly innovative American academia.
Jack at Bristol with his paranthropology 'journal' is doing something similar but, unless he can pull in additional funds; highly unliklely in the current climate; then that's not going to last much beyond him attaining to his (well deserved) eventual PhD.
