The Assad regime now reports extraterrestrials are in Syria

Now this one baffles me there are several pertinent questions, is the journalist a. insane, b. affected by mind bending substances, c. having a lend of us or trying to make the Syrian authorities kind of warm and fuzzy. Alternatively are the Syrian authorities trying to do teh same i.e a., b., c., as before suggested. Then is the picture ET with Mary Poppins or ..well you get the idea.
