White Buffalo?

Has anyone ever heard of a spirit guide called White Buffalo?

I've never heard of the guide White Buffalo, why do you ask?

The term came up in a conversation about guides. I suspected it referred to totemic guides, as in American Indian spiritual beliefs, but I also thought it might be the name of a person-spirit guide, like Silver Birch.

I considered the latter to be the less likely of the two.

There very well could have been a guide called White Buffalo, native americans have a strong connection with spiritualism. So it wouldn't suprise me.

They had many wonderful names.
